The Cleveland Browns have been hit hard this week by COVID-19 positive cases. With more than 20 players in COVID protocol, the NFL has announced the postponement of Saturday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The league said the changes were made based on medical advice and after discussions with the NFLPA.

"We have made these schedule changes based on medical advice and after discussion with the NFLPA as we are seeing a new, highly transmissible form of the virus this week resulting in a substantial increase in cases across the league," a memo by the league said.

The revised COVID-19 protocols announced Thursday could allow for vaccinated players to return sooner.

It was announced Friday that Jadeveon Clowney and linebackers Mack Wilson Sr. and Tony Fields are the latest players to test positive for the virus.
