Career Concepts Connects Job Seekers with Employers: Giving You the Business
During the pandemic, there have been layoffs, business closures, and most recently, a shortage of workers.
However, Mark Turner and his team at Career Concepts are working to place people in the job market several different ways.
"The temp-to-perm relationship is where we submit an employee to work at a client's office," said Turner. "They will work as a Career Concepts employee for a required number of hours. We will pay that employee and bill the client during that time period."
At Career Concepts, job seekers can view openings in-person and meet with account managers who can directly connect them with positions.
Lori Marshall used Careers Concepts years ago and returned in hopes of adding a new chapter to her life.
"I placed the phone call, and I was scheduled to come here for an interview," said Marshall. "This way, we went over my resume."
Marshall got a job at the same place she worked for more than a decade.
"Career Concepts called and said that Lori was available and that she had worked for us before," said Eric Harper, general manager at Sunburst Electronics. "It really highlighted her strength. We realized we had a need for that at the facility, so it was perfect timing."
Harper plans to use Career Concepts again to hire dozens more people as part of its upcoming planned growth.
