A new store that sells liquidated items from major retailers is now open in downtown Erie.

Early Birds Discount Store, which is located at 2425 State St., celebrated its grand opening Friday.

It carries items - from home items to toys to clothes - that were bought wholesale and don't cost more than $7.

The owner said the inventory is always changing.

The store is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
