March is the start of Maple Syrup month in Erie County.

The Hagen History Center kicked off with month with a maple syrup pop-up display. There was different artifacts and plaques that visitors could learn about the maple syrup production from.

There was also maple treats in the gift shop from the Hurry Hill Maple Farm and Museum in Edinboro. 

This Sunday was also a free admission Sunday thanks to the Erie Community Foundation.


The Hagen History Center is open from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays and located on at 356 West 6th street.
