Car Lands on Roof Following Crash in Pennsylvania Town
A crash caused a vehicle to become airborne and land on top of a restaurant's roof Friday in a Pennsylvania town.
It happened along Routes 11 and 15 in Shamokin Dam, which is located in Snyder County.
A woman was driving a SUV southbound and hit several vehicles around 5:30 p.m.
The SUV careened into the restaurant parking lot, slammed into a minivan and then launched onto the business rooftop, according to officials on the scene.
A child in the SUV was not injured, but the driver was critically injured and taken to a hospital.
Four others were also taken to the hospital including two people in the parked minivan. Two out of the four suffered serious injuries but are now stable.
Police said the SUV was removed from the roof about five hours later.
