Police have arrested a man on felony charges for making inappropriate comments to two juvenile girls at a business in the City of Titusville.

James Ruehle, 73, of Pleasantville, was arraigned on counts including unlawful restraint of a minor, false imprisonment of a minor, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and harassment.

Police were called to a business around 7:50 p.m. Monday.

While placing an order for food, Ruehle asked one of the juveniles, who is an employee, if she would like his number or if he could have her number, according to police. He made additional remarks to her and another juvenile which included asking them to go to the bar with him and back to his residence, police said.

At one point, the employee went into a walk-in freezer to get dough for an order, and Ruehle came past the counter, went into the kitchen, closed the walk-in freezer door and held it shut, police said. Ruehle let her out after she tried to open the door twice, and he made a statement that he was going to come into the walk-in freezer and have his friend hold it shut while they were both inside, according to police.

Police obtained an arrest warrant and arrested Ruehle the next morning at his residence.

Ruehle was denied bond and is being held in the Crawford County Jail.
