City of Bradford Police have arrested a man for hitting a hospital security guard in the face at an emergency room early Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to Bradford Regional Medical Center around 2 a.m. for an unruly man.

Steven Parsons became combative with staff and hit the hospital security guard in the face, according to police.

It caused a disturbance in the emergency room and prompted staff to use the panic alarm, which notified police.

He was arraigned and taken to the McKean County Jail with bond set at $4,000.
