An Erie non-profit group that has been around for 30 years now has a new name.

The former Northwest Alliance is now PA Thrive Partnership.

The agency celebrated the name change with a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday.

PA Thrive offers HIV testing, prevention and treatment services. It also helps with mental health therapy and pharmacy discounts.

The reason for the group's name change is to boost an online presence.

PA Thrive is still located in their same location at the Renaissance Building in downtown Erie.
