Erie County Community College to Add 6 New Programs for Fall Semester
Erie County Community College (EC3PA) is adding six new programs for the fall semester, leaders announced Wednesday.
The new certificate programs are:
- welding
- corrections
- CNC operator/programmer
- industrial maintenance
- automated electrical systems
The other program is an applied science degree in criminal justice.
Students can complete the programs in one to two years.
EC3PA already offers three programs - an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts, Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology, and Associate of Applied Business and Management.
The community college is also hosting an open house Wednesday, May 4, at 5 p.m. at the St. Benedict Education Center, which is located at 330 E. 10th St. in Erie.
EC3PA's first classes started Sept. 1, 2021. It has four locations - St. Benedict Education Center, Erie County Technical School Skill Center, Corry Higher Education Council and Tom Ridge Environmental Center/Regional Science Consortium.
