Precision Alignment and Brake Goes Beyond the Basics: Giving You the Business
It is hard to miss Precision Alignment and Brake, a business that takes up a whole corner off Pittsburgh Ave. in Erie.
The company services vehicles for oil changes, state inspections and emissions but offers a whole lot more.
"If we can stick it on, blot it on, glue it on, anything aftermarket that goes on your vehicle from simply tinting the windows, bull bars, grill guards, tunnel covers, Nerf bars, absolutely anything interior, exterior aftermarket that we can put on a truck or four-wheel drive vehicle, we will," said owner Bob Fischer.
Fischer first opened the business at W. 8th and Powell Ave. in Millcreek.
He then took over the aftermarket part when he bought the former Monahan's located in the current spot.
Some customers stayed, as well as employees like service advisor Nick Messenger who is part of a staff of six people at Precision.
Precision Alignment and Brake deals with private customers who bring their vehicles to its location, but it also works with other local businesses.
"We do a lot of outside alignments for other garages that don't have alignment machines," said Messenger. "We handle all their inspections, oil changes, any service work that they need."
Everybody has their own specialty.
"Whether it's installs, we lift, we build a lot of nice trucks," said Fischer. "We have guys just specializing in tires and wheels. We got guys who just specialize in alignments."
Some of the built vehicles coming out of this business are displayed behind the counter.
"I wouldn't do anything else," said Fischer. "We really thoroughly enjoy it here and what we do and the smiling faces."
