At the conclusion of every High School Baseball season, the staff at Mercyhurst Prep honors its Senior Class and team members.

Wednesday night at the Church of Nativity Parish Center on E. Front Street, Erie News Now Eva Mastromatteo served as the guest speaker. 

She stressed the importance of team work in a newsroom and on the diamond.

The Lakers finished the 2022 campaign with a 14-7 record, losing to Fairview in the District-10 Playoffs.

Head Coach Randy Durkoske just completed his 26th season with the Lakers.

He also earned his 300th win during the 2022 campaign.
