The Erie Otters released their 68-game regular-season schedule for the 2022-23 season Thursday.

Erie will play 34 home games during the 26th season of Otters hockey. The Otters will play 19 Saturday home games next season. Erie made a change to home weekday games, with the start times pushed up to 6:30 p.m.

"Entering the 26th season is truly a testament to the perseverance and passion the Erie Otters fans provide, and something we don’t take for granted," said Dave Brown, Erie Otters general manager"We are excited and looking forward to increasing our fan following to all new highs and entertaining everyone with a young, energetic group that reflects the values of our Erie community and fans."

The season begins with a four-game road trip that begins Thursday, Sept. 29 in Peterborough.

The Otters return to Erie for their home opener on Saturday, Oct 8 to face London. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.

The annual Thanksgiving Day game will see the Otters host Sault Ste Marie for a 7 p.m. faceoff.

The New Year's Eve game makes a return to the Erie Insurance Arena on the final day of 2022. The Otters host Niagara for a 6 p.m. game to ring in the New Year. 

The only Monday home game of the season is set for an afternoon contest on Marin Luther King Jr Day game at 2 p.m. against Mississauga. 

The regular season concludes at home with the Otters battling the Sarnia Sting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Mar 25.
