Food Trucks feeling gas price hikes
Food trucks are now juggling record-high gas and grocery prices.
We talked with Chris Kaye the owner of Atacolypse Food truck, he said they now pay almost double to fill the truck.
To save money they try to stay within a 20-25 mile radius.
Food trucks' gas burns quickly as they use it for generators to run the kitchen and also driving to locations.
"The generators powering everything you know as for refrigeration, the electric systems and stuff like that.", said Chris Kaye the Owner.
Many breweries and restaurants sometimes help them out by letting them plug in.
That helps take the pressure off the generator at big events.
