A number of ride companies and vendors were forced to shut down operations and limit travel during the pandemic.

The buzz is certainly back in North East.

The Cherry Festival also featured rides for the first time in two years.

The new Ride Company is based out of Youngstown, Ohio and has been in the traveling entertainment business for decades.

Midway Amusement does over 50 Festivals throughout the year.

Staff member Michael Lisko told Erie News Now, "We have people out here loving life, spending money, eating good food and having a cold drink."

The Festival runs through July 9th and the popular Cherry Festival Parade will take place Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
