An Erie food favorite is now available on the go with a taco twist.

The people behind Federal Hill Smokehouse just launched a new food truck and are setting up near Sara's Campground this summer.

Autumn Atzert says a taco day at the restaurant was a huge hit, which got them thinking about jumping into the food truck business with Taco Distro.

In a saturated market, she said it's their product that sets the food truck apart.

"We do everything fresh every single day," said Atzert. "We make our own tortillas on demand, so as you're ordering your taco, we are pressing that tortilla. We use everything fresh and prep everything every single day."

They even use some of the brisket trimmings from Federal Hill to make the tortillas.
