The Pittsburgh Steelers announced the 2022 class for the Hall of Honor. The class includes three former player and a legendary broadcaster

Heath Miller won two Super Bowls(XL, XLIII) with the Steelers during a eleven-year career. He was two-time prow bowl selection. He leads all tight ends in franchise history with 592 receptions. 6,569 yards and 45 touchdown catches.

Sam Davis was the an offensive lineman for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Davis is a four-time Super Bowl Champion (IX, X, XIII, XIV). He played in a 168 games making 114 starts in 13 seasons with the Steelers.

Ray Mathews appeared in 108 games with 91 starts during nine years in Pittsburgh. He was a two-time Pro Bowl selection (1952, 55). He led the NFL in punt return touchdowns in 1952.

The class is rounded out by color commentator Myron Cope. The creator of the famous “Terrible Towel”, Cope spent 34 seasons in the booth for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2005. 

The 2022 Hall of Honor induction ceremony will be held on Friday, November 11, at Acrisure Stadium.
