People enjoyed the monthly tradition of the Artisan Flea Market with the Shops on the Hill on Sunday.

Located on 26th and Peach Street, several stores, restaurants and vendors came out to set up their tents to support one another and sell their merchandise.

This was the third flea event for the season, they typically happen every last Sunday of the month. Shops on the Hill have been hosting these events for the past five years and organizers said they have continued to grow. Organizers said despite hardships and setbacks like the pandemic, businesses and vendors on the hill have come out strong.

Gisele Littrell, owner of the Tipsy Bean said, "We have artisans in the Hill District to really try to promote the culture we are trying to have up here and really showcase the inclusive and the diversity and the talent that's here in this town. It's very important to us that we show Erie has so much potential to grow and come together and bud and revitalize and we are going to be a part of that."

Organizers said this was one of the largest turnouts.

The next Artisan Flea Market is set for August 28th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
