A new fitness trail is colorfully decorated for kids at the Barber National Institute to enjoy.
Today the organization unveiled the freshly painted pathway with a ribbon cutting.
Local artist Helen Tullio donated her time and talent to designing and painting the fitness trail with bright rainbow colors and shapes.
Institute staff members helped get the job done in one day by painting some of the outlined areas.
The fitness trail features twelve activity stops along the way that were developed by physical and occupational therapists at the Elizabeth Lee Black School.
It encircles the schools playground and is wide enough for wheelchairs and other assistive devices to be used on the trail, so all of the school's children can enjoy it's benefits.
