Buffalo Man Accused Of Using Twitter To Threaten To Kill Black People
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WENY) – A Buffalo man is accused of using twitter to threaten to kill black people at Buffalo grocery stores.
The U.S. Attorney’s office said that 24 year old Rolik Walker of Buffalo was arrested and charged with making an interstate threat.
According to the complaint, just two days after the racist shooting at the Tops grocery store, Walker created a twitter account dubbed “CONKLINHERO”. Conklin, New York is the place where the May shooting suspect is from.
Walker then used the account to post that he and his “associates” were targeting several grocery stores in the Buffalo area.
Walker later attempted to hide his twitter account by using an app on his phone that masked his IP address.
He made an appearance before a U.S. judge and was released.
