Pennsylvania Lt. Governor John Fetterman is making a return to the campaign trial, and he is starting in Erie.

As part of his campaign for U.S. Senate, he will be holding an event at the Bayfront Convention Center Friday evening.

This will be his first, full campaign event since suffering a stroke in May.

Fetterman said Erie County is Pennsylvania's most important bellwether.

He is running against GOP candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz to replace Republican Pat Toomey, who is retiring.
