Paving Project Starts on Route 6 in Warren County
A $1.2 million paving project on Route 6 in Warren County is getting underway Monday.
The work involves resurfacing 0.6 miles of Route 6 from the Gabion Retaining Wall to Warren/Kinzua road (Route 59) in Mead Township.
The project involves milling and paving and the installation of new traffic signals and ADA-compliant curb ramps.
It is expected to be completed in September, weather-permitting.
Drivers may see lane restrictions with flaggers directing traffic.
IA Construction Corporation, of Franklin, was awarded the $1,203,222.22 contract, which will be paid using federal funds.
