Coy Dyer participated in his first Rodeo when he was 12 years-old.

Now 22, he's become a staple on the Bull Ride Mania Tour.

It's a high-risk, high reward competition.

He broke his collar-bone, his leg and his nose, during competitions.

Coy told Erie News Now, "It's more mental than anything else, you just have to love it and if you love it, there is nothing more to it."

Professional Bull Riders know the stakes are high every time they saddle up.

"You train so hard and when the gate opens, your body just reacts," Dyer added. "I grew up with it and I have been hooked for the last 10 years. I am 22 now and I have lived it."

Bull Ride Mania begins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Grandstand Admission for this event at the Erie County Fair is $5.00.
