Pennsylvania State Police have released a statement regarding a local substitute teacher who sexually assaulted a minor.

Emalee Kedzierski is a 28-year-old female from Harborcreek Township who is being charged with Institutional Sexual Assault of a Minor, Corruption of Minors (2 counts) and Furnishing Liquor to a Minor.

Kedzierski was employed as a substitute teacher at a local school district.

While employed as substitute, she entered into a sexual relationship with the victim, a juvenile male.

Kedzierski also provided alcohol to the victim.

She was arraigned on September 13, 2022 and was released on her own recognizance.

The victim told investigators he first met Kedzierski as a high school freshman when she worked as a substitute teacher, and he also worked where she was employed, State Police said.

The victim said he went to Kedzierski's residence three or four times between June and July 2021, according to the criminal complaint.

He said she purchased cases of beer for him and provided it to him on one occasion, but it was not consumed there.

He told investigators the relationship turned physical, and they had a sex two of the times he was there, according to investigators.

During questioning, Kedzierski said she had the victim in class a few times during her substitute teaching career in the past few years, the criminal complaint said.

She said the victim was at her apartment because he throws parties, and she was providing beer for those parties, according to State Police.

Kedzierski told investigators she believes he came over three times, and each time was to pick up the $50-80 worth of alcohol she purchased for him.

Troopers said Kedzierski also admitted to having sex with the victim.
