Erie Man Pleads Guilty for Illegal Possession of Gun
An Erie man pleaded guilty in federal court to violating federal firearms laws, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Wednesday.
William Eldridge, 58, entered the plea to a single charge.
Eldridge possessed a firearm while being a convicted felon May 18, 2020, according to information presented to the court.
He will return to court for sentencing Jan. 30 at 1:45 p.m.
Eldridge faces a total sentence of 10 years in prison, a fine of $250,000, or both, depending on the seriousness of the crime and any prior criminal history.
