Food trucks lined the parking lot as people came from all over the area to donate, and enjoy some good eats while they were at it.

The Greater Erie Community Action Committee (GECAC) was on hand collecting winter items for their annual Warming Erie County event.

VNET also brought a van which was stuffed full with new winter coats, gloves, hats, and blankets to hand out to families and seniors in need of warmth.

All these items went towards helping over 600 people in need this winter.

Erie News Now will host our third annual coat drive on Friday, October 21st. It will run all weekend long.

We'll keep you updated with those details as the event gets closer.
