The Erie Humane Society and SafeNet will host Trails & Tails, a 5K race and fun run, this Saturday at Frontier Park. 

Registration begins at 8 a.m., by the tennis courts. The race itself will kickoff at 9 a.m.

A 1-mile fun run will kick off shortly after at 9:15 p.m.  

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. 

The 5K race is being held to raise money for EHS's and SafeNet's joint program, Haven 2 Home. 

Haven 2 Home works to provide a safe, temporary shelter for pets belonging to victims of domestic abuse, while receiving safety and support from SafeNet.
