Flynn's Tire and Auto Service Values Honesty: Giving You the Business
We already had snow this weekend and that is just the beginning, as the winter season approaches.
When the snow falls, tire shops get busy. And that's the case at Flynn's.
The Pittsburgh avenue location opened in 2018, and it's one of two Flynn service centers in Erie County.
Matthew Mitchell is the store manager of Flynn's Tire and Auto Service off Pittsburgh Avenue in Erie.
"Suspension brake work of course and preventative maintenance as well," said Mitchell.
People around here might know the catchy commercials but did you know its also a family owned business with more than 20 locations across Pennsylvania and Ohio.
The focus is on tires and honesty. Just ask Gary Junker of Millcreek, who brought in a vehicle and was ready to buy a set of four new tires.
"They found that the tires I have are perfectly fine and maybe even better than the ones that I was looking to purchase they basically handed me my keys back and said no charge," said Junker.
And while that doesn't happen every time, Mitchell said they do everything they can for their customers.
"If it's in inventory and we can make it happen for the customer we'll do everything we can," said Mitchell.
Mitchell said if it's a name brand tire, they can get it.
Tires are the core of the service at Flynn's. The Flynn's location along Pittsburgh Avenue will be getting a drive thru that will solely be for tires.
"It will be like a green paved lane and you get in just like you would at a car wash," said Mitchell. "So, in the drive thru service its going to be mainly tire work, tire repairs, change overs, new tires of course."
When it comes to wait time right now for new tires to be put on the Pittsburgh Avenue Flynn's location could mount on average in about 20 minutes. But the alignments are the wild card, every vehicle is so different, making times vary.
