Interstate 90 eastbound is closed from the Interstate 86 interchange to the New York state line, according to PennDOT Friday evening.

It is connected to the closure of the highway in New York.

The closure is expected to remain in place overnight.

Several accidents closed roads in eastern Erie County for a while late Friday afternoon.

Route 20 was closed from Bartlett Rd. to Prendergast St. in Harborcreek Township due to a crash and a downed utility pole.

Interstate 90 eastbound was also closed from the Interstate 86 interchange to Exit 41 (Route 89/North East) following a multi-vehicle crash.
