Erie's LGBTQ+ Community Reacts to Deadly Shooting in Colorado
5 people are dead and 18 more are injured following Saturday's deadly shooting at the Club Q nightclub in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Zone Dance Club, a local spot for LGBTQ+ events, says they're reevaluating their security following the shooting.
"I'm sitting down with our owner and we're having deep conversations about what we can do moving forward to continue providing the safe space for the queer community around here," said Tony Gressley, manager of The Zone. "I don't think I could ever live with myself if something like what happened in Colorado Springs or in Pulse ever happened in my bar, on my watch."
The shooting at Club Q is still under investigation as to whether or not it was a hate crime. On Club Q's Facebook page, the club called the shooting a "hate attack."
