Sheetz is lowering the price of its Unleaded 88 gas to $1.99, this discount can be found at 368 Sheetz stores across the country, several of which are in our area.

Unleaded 88 is approved by the EPA for use in all vehicles 2001 and newer, Sheetz advises that Unleaded 88 not be used in smaller engines, meaning it's not intended for things like your snowplows and snowmobiles.

According to Sheetz's Public Relations Manager Nick Ruffner, 2 out of 10 people were considering not traveling for Thanksgiving due to high gas prices, and Sheetz hopes hopes to provide much-needed relief at the pump with this discount.

"This gasoline is actually not recommended for small engines. This is just for vehicle usage for cars, trucks, SUVs, things that are 2001 or newer," said Ruffner. "We are saying as well, just to have that extra piece of mind, that extra security. Go ahead and check your owner's manual and consult the information about your specific vehicle. But we're confident that the vast amount of vehicles on the roadway are eligible for this fuel." 

This discount on Unleaded 88 runs now through November 28th.
