Mount Pleasant of Edinboro will be opening for its 52nd skiing and snowboarding season on Friday, December 23rd. 

Mount Pleasant said the tube park will open shortly after Christmas. 

Additionally, the ski resort's new 120-foot covered conveyor lift will open on the 23rd as well. The left will increase the number of beginners the resort can accommodate, and will improve the quality of lessons. 

The owner of Mount Pleasant, Doug Sinsabaugh said the resort has produced more snow so far this season than they have ever produced before. 

So far, over 10 million gallons of water has been converted to snow. 

Opening day for Mount Pleasant will kick off at 3:30 p.m. The Resort will be open Christmas Eve from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. but will be closed Christmas Day.
