The National Hockey League's Central Scouting Service released its midterm rankings for the 2023 NHL Draft prospects. Four Erie Otters were among the 224 ranked North American skaters.

Ondrej Molnar was the highest-rated player slotting in at the 48th overall spot. He was followed by Carey Terrance as the 50th-ranked prospect. Each was ranked as a potential second-round pick in the NHL Draft. 

Molnar has a goal and seven points in seven games since joining the Otters during the first half of the season. Carey Terrance has 48 points in 36 games played this season. Terrance has 16 goals which leads the team through the first half of the season.

Defenseman Spencer Sova was the 136-ranked prospect. Fellow blue liner Alexis Daviault was ranked as the 169 best North American skater. Sova would be a potential fifth-round pick, while Daviault is projected to go during the sixth round.

Sova leads all Erie defensemen with 14 goals this year. He has 28 points in 36 games played. Since joining the Otters in a midseason trade, Davialut has registered a pair of assists in two games. 

The 2023 NHL Entry Draft is scheduled for June 28-29 in Nashville, Tennessee.
