An alarm went off Saturday night at Tinseltown in Summit Township, forcing the evacuation of the entire movie theater complex.

It happened around 7 p.m. and sent hundreds of patrons out into the parking lot.

There was no fire or emergency. Fire officials checked out the entire building and the alarm system.

Sources said it was some sort of alarm malfunction.

Within an hour, people were allowed back in.

If your movie was interrupted, Tinseltown will honor your tickets with a pass to see a movie another day.
