It may be cold now, but if you like working outside, Presque Isle State Park has some job openings.

This is the time of year the parks begin looking to make seasonal hires. And with a surplus of available positions, the hope is to get as many positions filled as possible with this one day event.

The hiring event is this Wednesday at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center.

There is 25 positions ranging from semi-skilled laborers, to custodians, park rangers, and life guards.

"All these jobs are great jobs because you get to interact with the general public on a regular basis. You get an opportunity to start a career in public service and give back to your community," said Matt Greene, Park Operations Manager. "The jobs at Presque Isle, while they may be demanding with a lot of people in the summer time, they can be really rewarding."

If you're thinking about coming out to the job fair, all you need to bring is 2 forms of identification, and you can have an interview on the spot.
