After 42 years in high school football, Warren head coach Mark Morelli is calling it a career.

Morelli submitted a letter to the Warren School District Thursday informing them of his decision.

Morelli has spent the last six seasons with the Dragons program, leading Warren to a 29-29 record with two playoff appearances and five winning seasons.

"I want to express my gratitude for the excellent support you and the school district have given me over the years," Morelli said in his letter to the district. "That success is derived from many people and many sources of help, all of those factors played an important role in getting the Warren Football program turned around."

Morelli took over the Warren program in 2017. Morelli recorded his 100 victory as head coach this past season when Warren defeated Mercyhurst Prep. He finishes with a 101-95 record as a head coach.
