Carter Mook was sworn in as the next Millcreek Police Department Chief by Supervisor Clear during a public supervisor's meeting Tuesday morning. 

Chief Mook is a 28-year veteran of the Millcreek Police Department (MPD) with experience in various leadership roles of the patrol division, the SWAT team and the traffic section. 

Mook said his vision for the MPD is to be trusted and respected by the entirety of Millcreek Township with each decision made to benefit the community. 

The MPD has received an influx of new hires, making the department younger than ever, because of that the MPD will focus on training.
