Cafe 7-10 offers sweet treats to the community but last month their front window was shattered. Now, the cafe is open again and is expanding by adding a brownie bar. Mabel Howard, co-owner, says she appreciates the support from the Erie community.

"The Erie community showed their love from the night of the incident all the way to today," Howard said.

She says the new brownie bar is because of requests made from her customers. "We've been getting a lot of comments on our brownies so I thought show your customers that you are listening by giving them more brownies," she said.

One customer, Martina Sanders, says she is not a fan of brownies but loves the way Cafe 7-10 makes them. "I do not like brownies, I do not eat them, I do not even buy them at the store but Mabel's, they are really good," Sanders said.

Cafe 7-10's new brownie bar opens at noon on Friday, February 24th.
