Pennsylvania State Police are looking to identify the suspects in the theft of a gold coin from a Crawford County business.

It happened March 9 at French Creek Antiques in Saegertown Borough.

A man, who was accompanied by a woman, removed a gold coin valued at $650 from its original packaging and put it in a generic coin holder labeled $5, troopers said.

He then purchased the $650 gold coin for $5, and the price tag swap was discovered after the two suspects left the store, according to state police.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police in Meadville at 814-332-6911.
