Saturday marked the beginning of a monthly tradition at Sinai Sports.

Starting at 9 a.m., the complex hosted it's first-ever 3-on-3 basketball tournament, which is now planned to be a monthly occurrence.

Over 40 people came out to hoop, forming 8 different teams that battled it out on the hardwood.

The winner was team "Next Up" claiming the $400 prize. 

The next tournament date is on the calendar for April 22.

Sign ups are open to anyone 15 years or older interested in participating for the next tournament. The cost to form a team is $100 by a deadline of April 1, and once that deadline is passed, the price will increase to $125.
