AHN Grove City Hospital Hosts Flag Raising Ceremony for Donate Life Month

Allegheny Health Network's (AHN) Grove City Hospital held its annual flag raising ceremony on Tuesday to recognize National Donate Life Month.
The ceremony was held to honor those who gave the gift of life. Additionally, the goal was to call attention to the significant need for more people to register as organ donors.
According to the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE), more than 100,000 people in the U.S. are waiting for a transplant to save their lives.
CORE said more than 7,000 Pennsylvanians are on the waiting list.
Donate Life Month encourages Americans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors and recognizes those who have save lives through their donations.
