A local company hosted a job fair in Erie with employees testing products you might soon see in local stores.

Kwik Fill hosted its annual expo at the Bayfront Convention Center on Thursday afternoon, welcoming more than 70 vendors.

They showed off their products to Kwik-Fill store managers, who had the chance to order them on the spot.

Company representatives say its part of policy to not only show workers they're appreciated, but to show they're trusted to make the best decisions for their individual stores.

"One of the jobs as managers and executives is to let them know we do trust them we hired them to do a job now go do it," said Lance Pangborn, Kwik Fill. "So, I think it's pretty big."

Olympic gold medalist and longtime wrestling star Kurt Angle was also at the expo, promoting his brand of high-protein snacks for use in Kwik Fill stores.
