Giant Eagle has added a new Price Lock feature on an expansive list of 800 high-quality items, including a wide variety of grocery essentials at all Giant Eagle and Market District locations. 

Additionally, the Price Lock includes a selection of popular items at GetGo. 

The Price Lock will begin on Thursday, May 4th and will continue until August 9th. Giant Eagle said the Price Lock will reduce and control prices on these items by an average of nearly 20 percent.

While grocery prices have recently shown sings of easing slightly for the first time since March 2020, consumers are still being challenged by the realities of increased costs. 

Giant Eagle said it hopes to provide an element of relief with its Price Lock feature. 

Giant Eagle's Price Lock items will be spotlighted in its weekly printed circular. The circular will have a QR code that will take customers to the Giant Eagle website for additional information.
