Erie Zoo Offers Guests a Behind the Scenes Rhino Experience on Save the Rhino Day

The Erie Zoo is preparing to host Save the Rhino Day, also known as Save the Chubby Unicorn Day, on Saturday, May 6th.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will include a variety of rhino-themed activities and educational opportunities.
Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to purchase a Rhino Mini Experience at he Front Gate for $15 (per person).
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. guests who purchase a ticket will get a behind the scenes glimpse into the rhino habitat. The Zoo said masks are required for animal safety.
There will stations posted around the zoo where visitors can learn about rhino diets, enrichment, as well as conservation efforts.
A portion of the proceeds raised on Save the Rhino Day will be donated to the International Rhino Foundation.
