Pennsylvania State Police arrested a Waterford man for reckless endangerment and other charges after a verbal altercation turned physical and several rounds were fired.

It happened just before 7 p.m. Wednesday on Depot Rd. in Waterford Township.

Allen Waha, 73, of Waterford, and a 39-year-old Waterford man got into a verbal argument that turned physical, and Waha punched the other man in the face, troopers said.

Waha then went into his residence, grabbed a rifle and fired several rounds in the area to scare the victim, according to state police.

He was arrested and taken to the Erie County Prison where he is being held on $5,000 bail.
