College students are getting an experience of a lifetime, they'll be spending two weeks sailing on the U.S. Brig Niagara.

It's a history class that is offered through Mercyhurst University and the Flagship Niagara League.

The student's tuition covers instruction, program materials, lodging and meals for two weeks.

They will enjoy behind the scenes access to maritime museums and monuments of our region while living, learning, and traveling aboard the 200 year old sailing vessel. 

The program is currently underway, and will continue through the end of the month.
