It looks like Millcreek Township residents will see a tax increase, as the school board met Monday night and approved a hefty tax increase in its budget.

Members of the school board approved the final budget for the 2023-2024 school year, which includes about $115,000 in revenue and $114,000 in expenditures, as well as a 3.9% tax increase.

That means an extra $60 in taxes for a $100,000 home. This comes on top of the 4% tax increase the school board approved last year.

The budget passed 8-1.
