Troopers with Pennsylvania State Police are asking for assistance to identify the suspect in the theft of Fitbits and other merchandise from Kohl's.

It was reported April 8 at the store on Keystone Dr. in Summit Township.

The man in the photos and woman both walked into the store around 8 p.m. and went to a Fitbit display, investigators said. He ripped two watches valued at $299.98 total from the pegs before concealing them in a shoulder-slung bag, according to state police.

Troopers said they learned he had been in the store several times and stolen items, but the previous incidents were never reported.

The male suspect may possibly be a resident of the Erie or Buffalo areas. The woman is known, according to state police.

Any person with information is asked to call State Police in Erie at 814-898-1641 or anonymously contact Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477) or going online here.
