Andrea's Interior Design Knows What you Need Before You Do: Giving You the Business
An Erie County native and longtime designer has been helping families achieve the living space of their dreams, and their budgets.
From remodels to refinishing projects, I share the extent of her business in this week's Giving You the Business Report, sponsored by the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership.
Kitchen remodeling is what kicked off a business that now is all about providing people new looks in different areas of a home.
"I take them from that through an entire selection and design process that focuses on their needs, how they live in their home," said Andrea. "So, not only the function but also how it looks is a true resemblance of them, even though they didn't know until they saw it."
Andrea Labowski is the owner and designer of Andrea's Interior Design on West 26th Street in Erie. It's the second location for the business formerly known as Andrea's Kitchens on Peach Street.
"My specialty is working with people who know they need a new kitchen or know they need a new bathroom but that's all they know," said Andrea. "They have no idea where to start."
She also works with clients wanting new floors, closets, or even carpet selections. Window treatments are also services offered.
While the company has professionals deployed to homes for specific jobs, Andrea says they will also work with your own contractor if you bring one on.
This business is a Benjamin Moore paint supplier. Mixing is done in-house for anyone who wants to purchase paint colors, including fusion mineral paint for people looking to refresh furniture.
Simple paint supplies can be purchased there too.
Whenever a customer comes in for a consultation, which is free, Andrea will sit down with them one-on-one to make sure she knows what their lifestyle is like, so she can go ahead and help them with the job they need.
It's a home-like atmosphere for a store zeroed in on home projects.
Scarlet the dog is the official greeter, part of an intimate staff that includes Andrea's longtime friend turned office manager, Michelle DeDionisio, who takes care of the company's social media presence, showcasing before-and-after images for potential customers.
"They'll say, 'Oh, I saw your post on Facebook. I saw this kitchen on Facebook,'" said Michelle.
It helps create repeat clients, and first-timers hoping for help with specific creations.
If you are looking for home improvement deals to extend beyond Memorial Day, Andrea's does have a sale on Benjamin Moore paint until the end of the month.
