John Mason Jr. of Mason Farms announced Friday morning that locally grown fresh picked strawberries are now available.

They say Mason Farms berry fields are "abundant with locally grown strawberries."

Fresh picked strawberries are available at the Mason Farms locations at 839 Peninsula Drive and 4115 Old French Road.

The pick your own strawberry fields at the farm at 8603 West Lake Road, Lake City will open next weekend, on Saturday June 10th, weather permitting. 

The public is welcome to pick their own strawberries straight from the field daily 8 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Mason Farms on Route 5 in Lake City.
