Downtown Erie was busy on Friday night as part of the city's continual effort to bring visitors to downtown.

Several small businesses set up shop for Boutique night as the Erie Downtown Development Corporation joined with the Shops at 5th & State for a evening of art, live entertainment, and shopping.

Vendors lined the street with all kinds of unique options and visitors were encouraged to stop into any of the downtown restaurants or the food hall to make a whole night of it.

It's all in the name of getting people downtown.

The Flagship Kickball League and a classic car show also kept people entertained around Perry Square.
